Spice Up Your Belt With A Geek Belt Buckle

Let’s face it, most belts are boring. The only saving grace for these boring belts is to sass it up with a custom belt buckle. Problem is, most belt buckles either range from the death skull (or the ones that say “f*ck”) to giant rodeo style buckles that would feel more at home on the back of a bull or bronco than walking down the street. And let’s face it, no self-respecting geek would be caught dead in a rodeo style belt buckle. So what’s a geek who has dreams of having an awesome belt buckle to do? You go to Think Geek and pick up one of the three (hell, get all three!) Geek Belt Buckles. From the website: These delightful belt buckles come in three varieties that are sure to please any dedicated geek. (Read the full post about ‘Spice Up Your Belt With A Geek Belt Buckle’…)

They can take a bit of a beating too, which is essential if a watch is going to worn around my wrist. It is now twenty-five years since Casio released the first model in the G-Shock line and in order to celebrate, they have something rather special for us, the MRG-8000G. It is available in Japan, the United States, Germany and England. (Read the full post about ‘25th Anniversary Limited Edition G-Shock, Only 200 Available and They are Expensive’…)

Amp’d going after former CEO to pay off debts
Posted Feb 8th 2008 6:43PM by Nilay PatelIt wasn’t a pretty end for Amp’d Mobile, but even the hasty one-week extension of service, sale of customers to Prexar and asset liquidation wasn’t enough to keep creditors at bay — the bankrupt company is now suing after its former CEO for cash. Claiming that Peter Adderton “refused to perform certain aspects of his employment” and “threatened to take action that would damage” Amp’d, the lawsuit seeks some $1.15M in payments made. Amp’d is also going after some 20 other partners in similar suits, ranging from Merrill Lynch to law firm Latham and Watkins to Playboy and MTV. Vegas PS3 Case Mod

Now this is definitely one of the cooler case mods to have graced our pages, especially one that does not involve a PC of any sort but Sony’s PS3 console instead. This case mo was inspired by the Rainbow Six Vegas game, disguised to be a casino tower that one might actually mistake it to be the Wynn. I wonder whether anyone is going to come up a different variation considering that the Wynn’s second tower is nearly complete. This PS3 comes with colorful, bright LEDs along with a tiny Eiffel Tower to signify Paris, a pyramid for Luxor, and little folk to complete the setup.
