Memorex is giving consumers the ability to start their days off with a little bit of color. The company announced some new colorful additions to the iPod accessory called the Memorex iWake clock radio. Much like the iPod, the iWake clock radio will now come in colors, including blue, purple, and red metallic. The iWake will also continue to be available in sleek black and bright white. The clock radio is capable of working with all iPod devices. Since it connects to an iPod, users have the ability to wake to the integrated AM/FM radio or music from their iPod devices. The iPod accessory will also charge the connected ipod while docked. A white backlit LCD display, snooze function, and wireless remote round out this nice iPod accessory. Man, is this one of the longer product names that I have ever come across - the Canned Shape Card Reader + 3-port Hub Combo II. As you can tell, it comes in the form factor of a can and supports the following formats - SD, SDHC, MMC, XD, CF and microSD sans adapter. Heck, this is perfect for those who are constantly on the road as it makes for a nifty USB hub while reading a plethora of memory cards as well. If you have $20 to spare, this ain’t too bad an investment to have.

I’m not too sure why women also grow hair in unwanted places, but thankfully for us men there are devices that can be used to remove these unsightly hair growths from strategic places, with the Home Pulsed Light being one of them. Meant to be used by the patient with guidance from a physician, this system aims to provide the necessary privacy as well as efficacy when you’re busy removing hair from unwanted places of your body. It uses selective photothermal treatment to remove unwanted hair, and initial tests have shown it to be effective when it comes to reducing your hair count. Who would have ever thought that there would ever be a market for gaming mice? I guess no one ever thought World of Warcraft would ever take off the way it did. I never did like the controls on those MMORPG games, and it’s only natural someone made them simpler. For example, Belkin, a company famous for tech accessories, has created the n52te, a gaming mouse with tagline of “Built for speed. Built to Dominate. Built to Destroy”. Dang! It sounds like the n52te is designed for MMORPGs, but it is also created for FPS or RTS games. The n52te has 15 fully programmable keys that are completely customizable, so a gamer can do very quick things at the touch of a button. (Read the full post about ‘Belkin n52te Gaming Mouse’…)

While all the big players in the cellphone are playing it safe, the concept phone designers are going all out by fitting their phones with all but kitchen sink! And the latest to join the brigade is the Caps Concept Phone designed by Jean-Jacques Chanut which is really just about the size of a stick of lip-gloss. The mini-phone packs a mini-projector inside it and lets you play slideshows, and potentially even movies, on the wall. And if you want to use it for sending out an old-fashioned call or text message, there a cool side mechanism to aid that need. The lava lamp-style stick phone also features a 3.5 mm headphone jack in case you don’t wan to disturb the neighbors with your late-night movie show. LifeLites’ eLite LED kits are more than ready to be incorporated into LEGO models, using wires to send power to LEDs which are nestled within tiny Technic pegs so that they won’t look unsightly in the final product. A Basic kit is available to power the lights, while the slight more expensive Advanced kit will come with 9 different modes with flash, fade and flicker being among some of the functions available. You will need a 9-volt battery box regardless of which eLite kit you want to pick up, so be prepared to fork out somewhere between $50 to $80 for a decent setup.
