Review: Go green with the ANYCOM Bluetooth Solar Car-Kit
Lately, I’ve been reading a ton about going “green.” We’ve recycled for years at my house, but most recently I started doing it the correct way, with the plastic and paper truly separated and left out for the recycle company to take away. Of course, when it comes to electronics, that’s where I still need help. I have backup power supplies, laptops, desktops, printers, lights, and just about anything you can think of that’s electronic constantly running in my house. I guess that’s still going to be a work in progress. As for my car, I drive a Toyota Camry, pre-hybrid days; and an SUV is my other car, so no chance of going “green” there. PSP-3000 reference turns up on Sony’s website, don’t get too excited
Posted Mar 28th 2008 3:42PM by Donald MelansonFiled under: GamingIt’s only just turned three, but it looks like the playstation Portable is now at the center of new rumor mill concerning yet another possible revision, with this one sparked by Sony itself, no less. It doesn’t come from an over-talkative exec or anything, however, but rather a curious placeholder image that was turned up on Sony’s online instruction manual site. As PSP Fanboy reports, not only are there the expected images for the original PSP-1000 series and the slimmer PSP-2000 series, but there is one for a hereto unheard of 3000 series as well (no 4000 series, though). Of course, it’s entirely possible that the image is nothing more than a mistake or the work of som (Read the full post about ‘PSP-3000 reference turns up on Sony’s website, don’t get too excited’…)

Mimoco takes fashion up by another step

Fashion and technology often share a rather uneasy relationship with one another, but time and effort has proven that both parties are willing to move to an agreement. Mimoco, the Boston-based manufacturer of its Mimobot designer USB flash drives has just announced its new tokidoki Mimobot collection that is in line with the company’s goal of ‘bringing style and soul to personal tech devices’. This series holds the distinction of being the first fashion-oriented release from Mimoco, and could be the turning point where USB flash drives are transformed into everyday fashion accessories for the masses. Mobile TV Coming to AT&T In May
Television is coming to AT&T customers in just over a month, courtesy of the LG Vu (essentially an un-badged LG Prada) and MediaFLO. AT&T announced its intention to use the Qualcomm-owned service last year, but has apparently been waiting for both the network to support streaming TV and for a handset to watch it on. “[It’s] a brand new service on a brand new network, and two brand new devices.” said AT&T’s Mark Siegel We wonder, though, if AT&T should bother. The kind of people comfortable viewing video on a handheld device are likely to be those already ignoring television in droves. There is plenty of online content, from video podcasts to YouTube, and it’s free. (Read the full post about ‘Mobile TV Coming to AT&T In May’…)

Google Analytics + YouTube = YouTube Insight
As someone who has uploaded a few videos in YouTube myself, I sometimes long for the ability to see more detailed information about my uploaded video’s viewers. I’d like to know where visitors came from, how much time they spent going from one of my videos to another, is there a specific time of day when they stay longer than usual watching my videos, etc. And just recently YouTube has revealed that it now lets users do exactly that, providing a Google Analytics-like service with Youtube Insight. With YouTube Insight, uploaders can now “see how often their videos are viewed in different geographic regions, as well as how popular they are relative to all videos in that market over a given period of time.” It’s really just as simple as applying the principles of regular web site tracking programs for YouTube page views. Drum Table Plays It Loud

Posted on: 28, Mar

This drum table will certainly get on your nerves much more than that pesky colleague who has developed this nasty habit of drumming his fingers on the table throughout the entire day. Well, at least this drum table produces way more authentic sounds, but seriously - unless you’re a modern musician who finds inspiration from weird gizmos, I suggest giving this a pass since your own kids might drive you mad with this new ‘toy’.
