Talking about the slim phones, another one is ready to hit the league. LG adds another phone to its bucket with the ‘Black Label’ series which promises to feature the slimmest phone that has a 5 mega pixel camera and a width that is less than 14.9mm. That’s slimmer than the Samsung G600! Seems there will be tough competition for other such phones that are coming up in the long run. This suave black slider phone is made up of carbon fibre and tempered glass.

Posted Apr 7th 2008 11:26PM by Joshua TopolskyFiled under: Portable AudioYou’d think that after three whole versions of the MobilBLU Cube, the company could get itself off of .mac and onto a real server — but you’d be wrong. Regardless, the Borg-ship-aping media player is back, this time sporting a whopping 2GB of storage (just enough for those 14 LPs you own). Of course, you can’t beat its support for MP3 and WMA files, compatibility with PlaysForSure content, FM tuner, and shiny, happy OLED display… or can you? April Fool’s Day is over, however, that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning ahead for next year. Heck, who says you can’t prank your co-workers just for the fun of it? If you’ve got some spare time on your hands and want to have a few laughs at the expense of a friend, here’s a fun DIY project.
This probably isn’t the best project for beginners, however, the end result is well worth it. This tiny device you see here will fit snugly into a USB port and reek havoc on someone’s day. It accomplishes this by randomly turning on and off the Caps Lock key at 30 second to 8 minute intervals.
Here’s a bit of advice though, don’t let them call the IT department for this one.

The other day I was playing a game of catch with someone and I was thinking: “Hey, there really needs to be a camera on this ball.” Actually, that never thought that, and I wasn’t playing catch, but I still think putting a camera on a ball is a good idea. This is what the TosPom does. You throw the ball, you catch it, and it uses face detection technology to take a picture. I suppose there is no better time to snap a pic then that smile you get when you actually catch a ball. Okay, you’re not a bad catch like me, but you get the point. I have no idea how the technology works. I mean, there is a YouTube video that shows the TosPom taking a perfect face picture every time it is caught. If you’re looking for a tiny PC for a decent price, you’re really not going to have a hard time finding one. Since the Eee PC exploded onto the market last year, everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. One of the latest to show up is the 2133 Mini-Note from HP. This 9-inch laptop certainly has more to offer than the current Eee PCs on the market due to its 1024×768 resolution, 2GB of RAM and 7200 RPM hard drive. It also runs Vista, but I’m not really sure if that’s something to boast about (I run Vista, XP and OSX, and I still prefer the latter two over Vista any day). Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has announced the name and details of its LaserTV which will be known as LaserVue. This is the first product line of its kind, realizing the dream of the laser-powered TV which made its debut at CES earlier this year in Las Vegas. Mitsubishi claims that the LaserVue will deliver a range of color never before seen in home entertainment - pretty high claims, so it must be seen to be believed. Other details concerning this year’s DLP lineup and its range of ultra thin LCD HDTVs will include a thinner frame and brighter picture on the DLP models and while the proprietary Ultra Thin Frame on the LCD HDTVs will feature improved sound capabilities.
