The Pantouch digital photo frame from Pandigital takes some pages out of a standard book (pardon the pun), featuring slide motion and touch controls that enable users to go through the photos using a patent pending ‘page turn’ effect, which effectively simulates a photo album courtesy of a simple forward/backward motion swipe. In addition, there are icons available for your fingers to tap when accessing digital photos, MP3 tunes and video clips. Depending on the size of the photo frame, you will have to fork out anywhere from $120 to $250 when they hit retail shelves this May. Posted Apr 4th 2008 1:05AM by Paul MillerFiled under: cellphones Griffin’s antenna-stub sporting ClearBoost case for the iphone just hit the streets, and opinions are already pouring in. The case involves the antenna, a bumper and a screen protector, and while the resulting combination is not much for loooks, iLounge found it to improve performance in certain situations. Apparently in very low coverage areas the ClearBoost isn’t much help, but in wonky two or three bar situations ClearBoost added one or two bars. Logitec’s Bluetooth 2.1+EDR adapter retails for $22, and at that price you get signal range of up to 300 feet along with all the other features that accompany 2.1. It is capable of supporting up to 15 different Bluetooth profiles in Windows (9 on Macs). Certainly there isn’t much to argue about when it comes to price, and Bluetooth 2.0 seems like a distant memory all of a sudden. The Bagetty microwave concept throws all convention out of the window, doing away with a boxy design that has plagued microwaves all this while. Instead, it comes in the form of a cylinder, making it perfect for those who subsist on hot dogs, sausages, breaksticks, and any other foodstuff that can be rolled up and stuffed within. It definitely looks much cooler that what tradition dictates, but functionality-wise it won’t be picking up prizes anytime soon, let alone make it to the manufacturing line. The H_T Cellular Gaming WiFi Hotspot has a 1 mile range and comes complete with an over-clocked processor, fluorescent LEDs and GPS navigation. It looks a whole lot like a PSP and is currently gestating as a prototype before further developmental work will turn it into a mature device that is ready to take on the masses. Your HUD (Heads Up Display) or arm mounted screen will show you virtual or real enemy activity. But be careful, enemy hackers might be spoofing more troops and enemy aircraft in the area…Half the team maybe remotely engaged in assisting you against the cyber threat…The other part of the company is en route to the next geocache where the assignment is then downloaded. I just got back from Chicago yesterday afternoon after fulfilling my duties as a Sidekick Roadie. Those duties included meeting the artists, hanging out with the VIP winners, and having too much fun. Colbie Caillat, Cat Power, and John Legend put on a great show and it looks like everyone had fun. I’m sure T-Mobile will have all sorts of pictures and video up on www.sidekick.com shortly. If you want to read about the trip, head over to the Tour blog where I’m posting about my experience going on tour with T-Mobile. If you’re in New York, we’ll be heading into town next week so look out! (Read the full post about ‘The Sidekick/Grammy Tour kicks off in Chicago with John Legend’…)

Ever wish you could build a vehicle made out of LEGO parts? Moov brings that notion to pass, although it isn’t exactly LEGO parts per se. This vehicle is made out of giant wood and plastic pieces, and with a kid at its wheel (or any adult experiencing a second childhood), it will feel as though you were tearing down the street in a Ferrari. Dutch company Moov will be released in Europe this June, and ought to hit the US before the holiday season. I wonder if it will experience a boycott in terms of sales. This belt not only helps keep your pants up, but your spirit as well. Using polyurethane leather, the buckle boasts a headphone port that allows you to listen to your iPod nano just about anywhere you go. After all, with the iPod nano tucked away safely inside the buckle itself, it makes it all the harder for someone to nick it. The ipod nano belt retails for $33.99 a pop. I’d strongly recommend you removing your headphones before you drop your pants, lest you want the earbuds to unceremoniously make a hasty exit from your ears down to the floor.
