Jabra BT4040 Has Display

Posted on: 3, Apr

Jabra BT4040 Has Display
The Jabra BT4040 has been making its fair share of rounds across news sites for quite some time already, and for very good reason. It features a minimal LCD display that does away with the guessing game where you try to figure out just how many blinks of the LED means what. In addition to this much easier-to-understand format, the BT4040 weighs a mere 10 grams, where you will hardly feel it on your ear while a Digital Signal Processor helps to improve voice calls, be it incoming or outgoing. There is no word on pricing or availability yet. (Read the full post about ‘Jabra BT4040 Has Display’…)

Hands-on with Samsung’s Instinct
Posted Apr 2nd 2008 2:54AM by Sean CooperFiled under: cellphones Samsung and Sprint were keeping their cards close all day today but we finally had a chance to check out Samsung’s Instinct up close and personal. The handset’s look and feel is really top notch, materials, finish, and the oh-so-glossy — but hard to shoot — screen is sweet. Haptics for touch feedback are here as well, and aside from some strange behavior while scrolling, was a pretty useful feature for letting you know you’d actually done something — it was most noticeable, and most useful when typing. Not a bad effort, look for this to hit Sprint in June. Follow the link to the gallery on Engadget Mobile. (Read the full post about ‘Hands-on with Samsung’s Instinct’…)

Space Putty

Space Putty
Space Putty It’s squidgy, bouncy, runny and yet hard, this Space putty is an un-put-downable liquid lava goo. What once used to be silly, and occasional potty, has now become spacey. These iridescent pots of putty could not be more addictive to play with. It’s a ‘love at first squeeze’ thaing, no meeting or moment of idle thought is complete without a lump of this malleable magic stuff in your hands. You can mould it, bounce it, shatter it, stretch it, or in the case of the Iridescent Green one, even watch it change colour as you play with it. What you can’t do with it however, is put it down. You have been warned, Space Putty is highly addictive. (Read the full post about ‘Space Putty’…)

INFO Live Concept

Posted on: 2, Apr

The INFO Live concept actually crams in a computing device into the form factor of a wristband/bracelet. I suppose with current technology, it could function as a cell phone but woe to you if you want to use this to compose emails - the tiny display would be a pain to use when typing in letters using an extremely small stylus, but ought to be just fine for checking GMail wherever you are. Also, as with most watches on your wrist, the INFO Live will be extremely prone to scratches - hopefully the material used will be scratch resistant.

Catbox 360

Catbox 360
I’m sure most of you will hope that the Catbox 360, but we’ve eaten more than our fair share of salt to know that this is but an impossibility - after all, I don’t think an animal who has such a fascination for balls of yarn will be able to find something as complicated as video games interesting. Apparently, this automatic litter box will activate the game each time kitty steps inside, and should it leave a log during the game, it will earn a bonus multiplier mode for additional points. Needless to say, the Catbox 360 has no pricing nor availability date attached to it. (Read the full post about ‘Catbox 360′…)

Nokia Aneon offers a look at the future of mobile phones
We have already come a long way from the bulky landline-receiver like cellphones that mobile telephony made its debut with. And since users and manufacturers are constantly on the lookout for making the cellphone even thinner and lighter, we can be more than optimistic that the cellphone of the not so distant future might not be so unlike this concept here. A good case in point would be the new Nokia Aneon cellphone concept. It looks and functions more like palm-size computer instead of being just a phone and we just love its super smooth and super slim good looks too! CES 2008: Skull Candy

Posted on: 2, Apr

I love Skull Candy’s earbuds and headphones, so when I saw their booth at CES this year, I was so excited. Their booth didn’t disappoint. There were plenty of interesting headphones and backpacks in a wide variety of colors. Their booth had many headphones on the rack so you could see how they feel on your head.

They were also showcasing their Skullcandy FMJ headsets for the iPhone and the blackberry Curve. In January, they weren’t available yet and the staff at the booth only had one to show us, but they let us test it with our iphone.
