Sprint has just announced that they will be making available its new push-to-talk service, QChat, in 40 new markets. Some of these new cities include Austin, TX, Boston, MA, and Chicago, IL among others. The good news doesn’t end there though as Sprint has made 4 new QChat-capable handsets available today in conjunction with this auspicious event, allowing you to pick up the LG LX400, the Samsung Z400, the Sanyo Pro 700 and the Sanyo Pro 400 for $79.99, $99.00, as well as the$79.99 and $49.99, respectively. If you haven’t been a victim yourself, you’ve probably been at a meeting where it has happened. Someone is about to do a presentation when they notice they don’t have the right type of display cable or graphics port to connect to the projector. Another good one is where the cable is not a problem, but the screen resolution of the computer is, so people watch and wait while you figure out what resolution a projector will support. The folks at DisplayLink have come up with a better way to handle the connection between a computer and a projector.

InFocus now has two projector models that will feature DisplayLink’s USB graphics connection technology.

Is Google jumping into GPS navigation on iPhone?
If you were underwhelmed with Mr. Jobs iphone GPS demo like me, take heart.  While the demo was fun, it wasn’t too practical a tool, I mean if you’ve got GPS then you want turn by turn navigation.  Something big is around the corner and I believe it has Google’s fingerprints all over it.  The iPhone SDK forbids developers to produce a real-time navigation application so we know there are protecting someone. Some rumors have said Tom Tom was that someone.  But it looks to me like they built their app on a jailbroken iPhone, so that puts them at risk.  I don’t think that is going to happen.
