Putter Bot looks Cute

Putter Bot looks Cute
Wall-E might be the cutest robot at this point in time where the whole planet is concerned, but that doesn’t mean this Putter Bot is any less cute. In fact, it gains points for not being a fictional device, but is able to actually do some putting albeit with some help from the extra bright torchlight attached to it’s body (presumably to help it make those complex calculations before giving a good swing on its mini putter). Definitely something worth checking out, although there really isn’t any real life practical use for such a robot as there are better ways to entertain yourself. Betsey Johnson Bow Watch

Betsey Johnson Bow Watch
If you want a way to turn away any potential dates, wearing the Betsey Johnson bow watch certainly ranks up there alongside bad breath, hairy armpits and a foul mouth. Shaped to resemble a black bow, there actually is a watch hidden right inside as you flip it open. This watch targets females as it also comes with a hidden mirror so that you will be able to perform any last minute make-up adjustments. Retailing for $75 a pop, this is not something I would recommend picking up - better save that money for something else that will make you look more appealing. Undiscovered Apple TV keyboard

Undiscovered Apple TV keyboard
iPhone/ipod touch fans take note - there is a new dimension to the Remote application that seemed to have been overlooked by many. Apple themselves have done virtually nothing to promote such a feature either, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t useful or interesting to look at. The iphone or iPod touch will be able to be used as a keyboard in lieu of the hard-to-use on-screen non-QWERTY keyboard as your Apple TV keyboard. Best of all is, the typing is reflected on the TV screen itself so that you know exactly where you’ve gone wrong with a wayward finger or thumb. Source: Crunchgear

Wine in pop-top cans: A sign of the times
Every once in a while, some new idea comes along that is very practical, but probably won’t be implemented because “it has always been done this way”. For example, the idea of wine in pop-top cans. I’m sure a lot of wine connoisseurs are probably saying: “Wine in pop-top cans? Zut alors! Cans are for beer! Fine wine shall not be drank like le Budweiser!” Two Swedish designers named Jens Andersson and Jonas Forsman have created a special kind of can designed for wine-drinking. As you can see, they are definitely classier looking than traditional 12 ounce cans, especially when it comes to the shape and the pop-top. In case you are wondering, they are recyclable. Pump Cools Chips with Liquid Metal
Danish company Danamics has invented the coolest (in both senses) CPU cooler ever. It achieves this not with boring old moving air, or even dull H2O. No, the LM10 uses liquid metal: Think T1000 in your PC. Danamics claims that the cooler is more efficient than just pumping water over the components. Unfortunately, the site only mentions “liquid metal” and not any specific kind of metal. The Wikipedia tells us that there are five metallic elements which are liquid at room temperature: rubidium (melting point 39 °C, 102 °F) francium (27 °C, 81 °F) mercury (−39 °C, −38 °F) caesium (28 °C, 83 °F) gallium (30 °C, 86 °F) For cooling purposes, it looks like mercury would be beast suited as it can get colder without solidifying. How-To: End Bike Thefts With a DIY Stun Gun and Get Yourself in Trouble
Some DIY projects are amusingly useful, and others inspired and unexpected, but there are some that cross the line into that too-hot-to-touch area. A DIY stun gun that may or may not shock bike thieves at a dangerous voltage level fits squarely in the latter column, even if it’s also a cool hack. A bike aficionado and dedicated DIY-er named Luke Iseman has come up with a portable theft prevention device whose simple focal point is a $40 pay-as-you-go phone. The phone is connected to the guts of a 50,000-volt stun gun through a transistor, and a plastic bottle hides the whole rig (wires are run from the stun gun to the bike’s body, and the whole thing is run with gps-tracking mologogo software). The lighted Ur. Frog Wrist Rest
Not too long ago the Croissant Wrist Rest made its way around the net, coming with a fresh bread scent.  However, this latest wrist rest is definitely way cooler.  First of all, this squishy little frog can be hooked up to your USB port and to activate the pretty lights.  Nothing is cooler than a squishy glowing frog, it’s just the rules.  Although, it does look a little morbid, since it looks more like a frog that was recently run over by a truck.  Well maybe not a truck, probably just some evil little kid with a wagon or something equally small and fatal. Verizon has just unveiled the brand new Motorola Adventure V750 clamshell handset that boasts the virtue of being the first phone based on the QChat push-to-talk network from the carrier. It utilizes EV-DO Rev. A cellular data to offer a somewhat similar experience as Sprint’s iDEN service, although in theory, it will be of better quality due to the 3G network. This tough handset complies with US military-grade specifications, offering protection against dust, drops and other shocks, temperature, and water splashes. Some of the other features include external music controls, multimedia support, a microSDHC memory card slot as well as navigation services.
